ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MARKETING AND PLANNING FOR YOUR COMMUNITY

Lawrimore has helped many counties, towns and cities over the past 20 years to strengthen their local economies, attract new business, and plan for the future. We are the most experienced economic development marketing and planning firm in the Charlotte Region.

Economic development marketing services include all the options show in our menu at left. For economic development clients, these include logos, branding, brochures, websites, public relations, videos, annual reports, newsletters, advertising and more. We have won a number of state and national awards for our creative work for EDC and tourism clients.

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) focuses on all the issues that affect economic development, including product (land and buildings), infrastructure, finances, marketing, small business and related concerns.

This approach has the power to significantly enhance a community’s economic development success and provide as much control as possible over market-driven changes which impact it. CEDS creates both strategy and structure to ensure effective implementation. Lawrimore will also work closely with the county EDC and the county CEDS team to be sure that everything is smoothly integrated.

Economic Development Planning (EDP) involves one group of community leaders in developing a marketing-focused economic development plan. It evaluates current resources and practices and recommends improvements which will enhance economic development success.

EDP does not establish any on-going structure but does give a small community a viable strategy for improving the economy and tax base.

Special Projects - Recently Lawrimore served as lead consultant for a team of experts studying adaptive reuses of old textile mills for Gaston County.

Previously we have conducted market feasibility studies for a proposed equestrian center, a civic center, and other potential public projects.

To discuss which form of economic or community development will best meet the needs of your community, contact Lawrimore today using our online contact form or call 704-332-4344.
